About my thermostatically controlled mixer shower
I have just had a new thermostatically controlled mixer shower installed. The thermostat control is on the right but this is my hot supply and my cold tap is on the left.
Will it still be ok does the thermostat control need to be on cold tap.

Hi, the thermostat control does not have to be on the cold side just because your cold pipe is on the left. What matters is whether the shower valve itself has been connected to the correct hot and cold inlets for that model. On many thermostatic mixer showers, the default setup is hot on the left and cold on the right when viewed from the front; if those are reversed, the shower may not work properly. If the temperature adjusts normally and the safety stop works, it may be fine. If not, the installer should check the inlet connections against the manufacturer's instructions.
