Hello, can you tell me if there is a common size of cartridge for a lever mixer tap in the kitchen?

So normally the cartridges are 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch thread depending on make and model
All cartridge sizes are different. unless you know the brand of the tap it is hard to get one that will match with the correct amount of teeth for the head to sit on. Most time it is cheaper to change the tap unless it is a high end tap
