Moving a toilet
Hiya. Currently looking to buy a house and upstairs there is currently a separate toilet at the left of the house and then the full bathroom on the right of the house. How realistic is it to move the toilet in the full bathroom?
If it helps there is also currently an ensuite on the floor above with a toilet and this is situated on the back wall. So there is basically water access all round the house, just not 100% sure on waste etc.
Advice from 2 local tradespeople
The toilet can easily be moved , as long as you can run a 100mm waste pipe to an existing soil stack, allowing for a 1 in 60 fall ratio. The cold water feed to the cistern is possible anywhere. If the soil stack is a modern upvc stack, the connection is more straight forward, however if you have an older cast iron stack, more work is involved.
Good morning, where is it you wish to move the toilet too? If being moved away from its current position and the new position isn’t along the outside wall then you have to think about the size of the soil pipe, where will it go, and will you give enough drop, from the new location.
Many thanks
