Toilet waste pipe
I have a huge lump of either some sort of metal or concrete above my waste pipe that’s been painted over several times (not by me) it has got some signs of rust.I wanted to install a modern toilet and I’ve no idea on how to remove it any ideas?

Hiya, usually it will be a cast iron collar can be difficult to remove, try getting it to move or simply put a cut in it with a metal cutting disc etc
