Sump Pump installation question
I am replacing my sump pump. In my installation, can I use schedule 40 PVC coupling on the PVC pipe between the sump pump and the check valve? Or is it not recommended? My check valve adapter is glued to the PVC pipe and I wanted to reuse it. I was thinking of cutting the pipe below the check valve and using a coupler to connect it to another piece of pipe that will run to the sump pump.

Yes you can. If possible, I always recommend replacing the entire installation
Use the same pipe work and fittings used on installation ( solvent weld )
