Improve solar hot water system
I live in an apartment, we have solar panels on the roof along with a 300ltr tank with heating element in it. In the kitchen there is pipework near to gas pipe and electric socket, I presume for back up tank/boiler ? if I fit a small 100ltr immersion tank (thinking of Ariston velis), can I just run the hot water from the solar tank through it.

Yes I believe this is a good idea but I would have to check with my plumber. I believe you will have to check the water pressure is sufficient enough coming from the solar tank.
