water weeping from joint

what should I do about drips from compression joint that goes into cold water tank?

Advice from 4 local tradespeople

The joint likely just needs to be taken apart and the seal remade or in some cases the compression fitting can be swapped out for a new one.

This would need to be disconnected after water supply is disconnected and emptied so that a new valve or PTFE take can be applied to seal threads l.

A plumber will isolate the water, then replace the compression joint making sure there is new olives fitted. Also it is a good idea to use ptfe tape.

tighten and check or refit the joint
