How to investiage damp issue?
We have a short 15mm copper pipe, with 90 bends each side, which passes through a brick partition wall to feed a radiator. We had the pipe replaced because the wall was damp around it. The damp is now much worse but confined to about about a foot to one side of the pipe and three feet to the other and about six inches above the four inch skirting, but there is no sign of a loss of pressure on the gauge on the pressurised system. There is no other plumbing in the vicinity as far as we know. The radiator is in the kitchen but the sink and stop tap are on the opposite wall far away from the damp wall. It is an old house, so maybe there is an old pipe capped off from a previous layout, causing the problem. How would we investigate this without digging up the kitchen floor? Can a pipe leak and not visibly lower the pressure? Should we consider a flexible pipe through the wall?

If the radiator was leaking at the pipe it would drop the pressure in the boiler.I think it will need investigated to try and solve the problem
