Perrin & Rowe U.5383 Shower Head Diverter - how remove spind
Hi - The handle broke off so had to buy a new spindle....which consists of 2 parts. By loosening the screw on the diverter where the hose connects, I can remove the spindle and front of the housing (the side where the handle sits). However that is as far as I get - I cannot remove spindle from the front bit of the housing so I can apply the replacement components. The spindle seems to be connected to this part by the big wide thread used to adjust the diverter. Hard to explain without a picture. Would appreciate any view. Thx.
