Toilet tank pausing a few seconds after flushing before fill
Wonder if anyone can help. I have a push button toilet.
After I flush the toilet there tends to be a pause of maybe 2 - 6 seconds before the tank starts filling up.
It fills up fine it is just the few second pause before it starts filling after the flush which is the issue.
Any ideas?

There's few filling valves working like that. They have few extra seconds wait, until toilet cistern gets empty and siphon shuts properly down. Perfectly fine.
Most likely syphon needs to be replaced or opening lever has friction with some other part
