Can a shower pump be submerged under water?
My plumber placed a Monsoon 3 Bar pump into a bucket to catch water from a leaking connector. Overnight the bucket filled up and the pump was totally submerged. Now the pump wont work, shorts the electricity in the house. The plumber is unwilling to replace the pump, stating that it should be water proof. Can anyone confirm if this is the case?
