Copper pipes on external wall?
I'm having a cloakroom fitted downstairs. He's fitting the hot and cold pipes outside the house on the wall. I've questioned about the risk of freezing, he says it's fine as they'll be insulated. Should I be worried?

Under no circumstances do you want to fit domestic water pipes externaly unless there is no other option available and should be boxed in and insulated
To run the pipes outside is not ideal but if it's the only option then as long as they are fully and thoroughly insulated it will be fine . usually we would "Chase" the pipes into the plaster internally.
