Bathroom mixer tap plumbing
Hi! I have a rubbish Ikea bathroom sink mixer tap which, because it has 10mm connectors, barely dribbles water out. Do other makes of tap have wider connectors?

Not usually. its bite size of the pipe. make sure the flexi pipes aren’t linked restricting flow.
Most of the taps now come with 10mm or 12mm but it does depend what kind of tap you get, You do have to be careful though on what tap you get as some taps are only suitable for pressurised systems. So it does depend on what system you do have as well
When connected via Flexi hose they are generally 10mm if you plumb direct with flanged end 15mm copper pipe then your flow rate will increase slightly, how ever all taps do have specific flow rates and ideal working pressure
But very often it’s as simple as removing the filter inserted on the tap outlet !!!
