shower bath mixer tap
i have a bristan 1901 shower.bath mixer and the shower has stopped working iys approx 14 years old, i live on the north kent coast and our water is very chalky is it best to get a new unit or replace the diverter..

Hi there.
I recommend you have a water softener installed and then you can have what ever tap you desire.
I would get a brand new unit. It will be a lot cheaper just replacing it
