Benefits of wall-hung (or floating) toilets?
We were skeptical about the wall-hung toilet and a plumber said they're more hygienic. Is that true? What are the benefits of wall-hung toilets?

The main benefit is that it is able to be cleaned underneath as long as it's mounted securely on a solid wall.
All aesthetic, unless you are a dirty family that doesn't clean bathrooms!! Get the lookyou want and make sure it is expertly fitted, you will have no issues. Cheers

Hi yes it is.all staff from toilet like tank,waste pipe is behind wall and most of them now they got lifetime garantie( geberit) and one more think is look so nice
only benefit really is you can wash under the toilet.
They are good providing you have correct fixings/brackets and yes it is more hygienic as you can clean underneath

No they are no more hygienic than standard toilets and need to be fitted to a stable structure or a wall frame.
There is no advantage except a lot more expensive to fit
True simply because you can clean under the the toilet.
its the look there is no hygienic advantage either way if you wee on the floor it still gets on the floor sorry. i dont like wall hung toilets i dont trust them thats my opinion good luck
You have to build a box for the systern then hang the toile it's easy.And tel your plumber I never heard so much rubbish
