Are solar panels cost effective in the south of England?
How long does it typically take to get your money back. What advise do you have with regard to making it worthwhile?

Solar pannels are not worth it in this country needs sun to charge. all that money your going to waste for two month of sun. Think about it in the summer your on holiday or only using hot water do you think your bills go up in the summer or is your bill cheaper in the summer already. Solar panels are a great idea if your in a hot country with a least 6 months of sunshine. I hope this helped.
yes you get more sunlight the further south you are.
From what I have been hearing it takes anywhere between 5 and 8 years before you see any savings on a install but certain factors like how many panels installed the original cost and if you have a deal in place with supply company who will pay for unused supply
