Faulty gas cooker - fix or buy new?

My pilot doesn't work so we have been manually lighting the gas oven.
Now it lights but doesn't stay on.
Plus the dial doesn't alter the oven either it's either on high or low
Is it worth fixing or buy new cooker ?

Advice from 4 local tradespeople

I advise against repairing it myself, it must be done by a professional, and if there is no possibility of hiring, I recommend buying a new one

It’s better to buy a new cooker
As the white goods engineer will charge a call out fee to diagnose the problem then will charge you extra to buy & replace the part.

Buy new one

Buy new.
