Quote for moving radiator

I've been quoted £150 for moving a radiator a couple of feet. I'd like to know if that's reasonable please? Your help is much appreciated!

Yes is a reasonable price.

£100.00

The job would involve draining down the system and refilling it after. It could take 2-3 hours so I would say this is a fair price.

I'd say it's average I quote £100 but have found the average to be £150-£180

Yes, we can do for you with the materials £ 150

When relocation a radiator the heating system will need to be drained down and after rad is been refitted the system will need to be repressured. The best part of half a day. Cost£120 ar plumbing would charge.

With out seeing what needs to be done it's hard to price this kind of job. If it takes an hour to drain down and move rad and then refill with inhibitor around £120 to £160

is pipe work above floor or coming up from floor?
would say a little high either way, does not seem like a lot of pipe or fittings involved, so £100 would be nearer the mark

To move a radiator it would depend how much pipe work is involved but as you say a couple feet that should be be too much unless you want the pipe work hiding under floor boards which is extra work but I would charge between £80-£100. Craig CLW Plumbing Pontefract.

Yes, drain down system, re pipe, refit, refill and install inhibitor. Good Price

Bit expensive we normally around £100

again depends on the distance but start from 120

YES they will have to drain the system and probably refill with inhibitor and test out we would be happy to quote.

My quote for movind a radiator is £40/hour plus materials.

yes it is the distance is slightly irrelevant

Cost is dependent on a few things , size of your house (how long it will take to drain you heating water and refill) the price is there or there about for two hours labour and fittings/pipe

Prices are quote differently both get more from registered engineers from a registered body to pick from.

Yes is fine
