Shower Chord not working
Hi, the shower pull chord which controls the power to the shower has stopped working. When the chord is pulled it does not switch the switch on that gives the shower power. Any suggestions as to what has happened/ what to do? Thanks

Replace it, they are simple and cheap to replace, it's quite easy to be a little too vigorous with them lol
It is probably just faulty and worn down after strenuous use. Replacing the shower chord should fix it. You need an electrician.

Hi, I think you just have to change the pull chord shower switch.
Sometimes the mechanism fails over time, and other occasions they burn out due to terminals not being tightened. Its recommended its replaced

YOU HAVE TO RUN POWER TEST IF THE POWER IS IN SHOWER AND THAT MEANS FAULT IN CHORD AND YOU HAVE TO CHANGED THE CHORD.
Best Solution is to replace the shower isolator.

Hi, it is possible that the pull cord switch is faulty and needs to be replaced although your first point of call is to make sure that there is power getting to the switch. I recommend you ask a qualified electrician to do this unless you have experience with electrics yourself

The switch is broken over time from switching on and off they break it is a very common problem
