Obviously it would help to know what type of paint you intend to use? You are looking at a cost of around 200 pounds

First use a good primer. When dry I would use v33 white wooden floor & stairs paint. Could require 2 coats but allow to fully dry in between coats

Yes, sure you can. But need to use propper stairs paint and put first coat, live it fully dry and after make second coat.

Sorry you have posted a job on a question section.

It depends on the measurements of the stairs and specifics on what exactly you want done to them and also the condition they are in currently to get an exact quote. Where are you based? If you live in and around the westmidlands area send across your details and we can arrange a quote for you.

The mdf is not the best material for stairs, we would highly recommend to use wood for cladding or cover it with carpets.

If these stairs are newly fitted with mdf, then these stairs would need to be treated. recommendation to firstly treat with mdf primer, followed by prime before you put on your gloss paint. Before this though will need to make sure all nail heads and screw are taken care of and fill all holes with suitable wood filter, sand and then treat stairs. Normally I would charge this as a days rate.

Can can paint them for 100
