Shower mixer
I have a newly fitted gledhill es dir 150 uv tank in upstairs cupboard, we are replacing bath (downstairs) too walk in shower, we are keeping the dual shower heads and riser we have already but what sort of mixer tap will i need for this system?

As you have a Gledhill ES Direct 150 unvented system, the hot and cold water supplies will be at balanced mains pressure.
For this type of system, you need to use a high-pressure thermostatic shower mixer, specifically designed for unvented (mains pressure) systems. A low-pressure or gravity-fed mixer would not be suitable and would give poor performance.
As you are keeping dual shower heads, it is important to choose a mixer valve that is rated for multiple outlets and capable of supplying sufficient flow. In many cases, a concealed thermostatic mixer with a diverter, or a separate thermostatic mixer combined with a flow diverter, is the best option.
Make sure the mixer is clearly specified by the manufacturer as suitable for unvented systems / high pressure. Also ensure that the pipework is adequately sized to maintain good flow to both shower heads.
If in doubt, always check the manufacturer’s pressure and flow requirements before purchasing.
