Bathroom fitting quote
What is reasonable quote for re-fitting (labour only) a complete bathroom (2 x 2m, 3 piece suite)? I've been quoted £1000 + VAT. I'm in Romford, Essex. Is that reasonable?

Bathroom installation charges vary from region to region, so it would be difficult for me to make an accurate comment on the pricing, but from what you have described, i would assume that to be a competitive price for the work you require.
That seems expensive for only re - fitting a bathroom. Very little plumbing involved. Would have expected tiling and a bath shower installation for that money. From 1st Building Solutions

To be totally honest it all comes down to how long the job will take, at the measurements stated just for labour I would say £800 + 20% £960 all in
seems high for just replacing suite unless tiling being done as well then price ok

Its better to make sure he does it right, now that's the hard part getting a quality fitter, the accent normally will tell you.

On my experience that is expensive I normaly do 100pounds per piece including fitting materials.
Labour only a fair price, to the client it seems a lot for a small area, but the smaller the room the more difficult to work with
what does it include is it just suite then probably a little high if it is tiling also then i would say you have a very competitive quote

Hi there, Its Mason here. The average bathroom price all depends on the quality of the suite and tiles as the prices vary massively. but a average quality suite and tiles etc is around £1200- £1500.
The labour is around the same.

does the work include tiling, radiator moving installation or is it just a straight swop of suite. for a straight swop i would charge 375
