False ceiling in bathroom to cover plumbing of upper floor
In a recently constructed multistory building. slit plus 14, the flats that we were shown had false ceiling on all bathrooms! When asked why, the civil project incharge said it is to hide plumbing parts of upper floor, no issues, in case of any issue, maintenance team will attend. This means that the maintence team has to be given access to the flat for repairs, incase of any issue with upper floor ? Can anyone explain what could be the real reason behind it? These details do not show up when the promoter / builder promotes such project !
