The block work will be fine for a while but I would suggest getting it re rendered or possibly painting but just make sure there is no wholes in the joints or blocks as water can get into the cavity and travel threw internal walls

If the breeze blocks have been painted or covered over you are okay, but if it not then no it wont be waterproof and you will need to re-render it or plaster it again.

breeze blocks are very pourous and will absorb moisture and water . do not leave unprotected for long as will cause damp to grow inside the dwelling not outside . suggest you cover with plastic until u can redo the render on the outside or paint the breeze blocks with water proof bitumen tar paint

The concrete blocks are not waterproof, so if you have removed the old rendering and have not applied a new layer of waterproofing material, your wall will not be completely waterproof.

Rendering acts like a raincoat to the exposed blocks and what is crucial to understand for any exterior surface, but especially the highly porous breeze blocks, is that moisture is not allowed to absorb into the substrate, which will cause damage not only to the paint work but to the material itself.

The more they are exposed to elements the more they will degrade overtime.

I would highly recommend you speak to a qualified and knowledgeable builder about reapplying render to the property sooner than later after old removal to minimise property damage and further protect your house.

It would be better if you could spray a water seal as the mortar may be very dry and soak up water. I would do this either way

Hi, yes of course block work is water resistant to a extent but would need time to dry through before re-rendering otherwise the new render would not take and start to come away from the block work rather quick.
