Cost of rebuilding a brick wall?
Could you tell me what I should expect to pay for rebuilding a brick wall using the same bricks which are in good condition. It's about 2m long x 1m high.

It depends if it is a 100mm wall (single skin ) or weather it’s a 225mm wall ,
Prices would vary in between £200-£300
That is based on single skin
Thanks
If you need a per m2 cost, then expect to pay around £150 per m2 for a single skin brick wall, including labour.
£280
The cost of rebuilding a brick wall using existing bricks in good condition can vary based on location and specific project details. However, for a small project like a 2m x 1m wall, you might expect a cost range of £600 to £1200or more. It's recommended to obtain quotes from local contractors to get a more accurate estimate based on your location and the scope of the work.
£300
Many contributing factors but approximately £500
I would charge between £450 £650 depending if new footing Required
Labour only would be apprx £70:00 per square metre to bould a brick wall
Is around 120 bricks ( one day work single worker) £380 .
100£
Day rate of 150
60 sand cement
Without having the exact details to hand, I’d roughly charge around £300-£400 including materials & clean up. Hope this helps!
On a price work
Single skin 120 bricks @65p per brick = £70-£100
Double skin 240 @65p per brick = £150- £200
£250 days work for 1 man
around the £300-£400 mark would be reasonable if the only material to buy is sand and cement
about 200 with the materials and labour
£350.00 including sand / cement.
Approx. 2 days labour
Clean old bricks ready for relaying
Materials for mortar
£500
We usually charge between £130/£150 per square meter of brickwork, depending on which style of pointing our customers desire.
We are flexible and can negotiate within reason.
It’s really not a big wall… probably a day to take down and clean bricks a day to rebuild… cement and sand. Looking at about £350
I personally would charge £450 ...that would be day rate of £300 for myself and £150 for a labourer. Complete job in one day providing the original bricks are cleaned and ready to be laid.
On average you pay between £70-£100 per square meter of brickwork laid, so your be looking at £140/£200 for 2x1 meters squared
This would depend on the quality of the bricks, the time it would take to clean the bricks off, and the quality of the foundations.
A wall 2m x 1m can be built in a day or two, depending on a few factors. Most brickies working for themselves charge anything from £150-250 per day, depending on the job itself, travel etc.
If the conditions are good on the ground and no other problems preventing the work you should expect to pay between 250 and 350 pounds again depending on the conditions in the area of work.
Easy days work for a bricklayer. I’d charge around £350
For rebuilding and using the same bricks I would expect a quote of around £400 just in labour cost. Cleaning off the bricks and. Re walling around 600 bricks
Rebuilding a 2m x 1m brick wall using the original bricks typically costs around £500- £1000 in the UK. Here's a breakdown:
1. Labour Costs: Expect to pay around £200–£350 for a bricklayer, as the job would likely take about a day.
2. Materials: Minimal cost if you're reusing bricks, but you'll need new mortar (£20–£50).
3. Waste Removal: If there’s debris to clear, skip hire or waste disposal could add £200-£300.
The price may vary depending on your location and site access, but reusing bricks and the small size of the wall should help keep costs relatively low. Always get multiple quotes from local tradespeople for a precise estimate.
For a 2m x 1m wall which is taking into account that the foundations do not need to be re poured you would be looking in the region of £550 with supply of the sand and cement along with brick cleaning
To clean the lox bricks off and relay you should be looking at £80 per meter square
