Is 2 days enough time to allow for plastering before kitchen install?
I have had my kitchen rewired my plasterer has been ill and can’t do the replastering until 2 days before the kitchen is due to be fitted.
Is this enough time for the plasterer to harden enough to hang cupboards from.
I am so worried.

Hi it won't be a problem getting the kitchen fitted 2 days after plastering that's more than enough drying time it's just the painting you should not get done until the plaster has all dried out.
Usually it will take 4-5 days for plaster to completely dry, sometimes a whole week. It really depends on temperature of the room, the hotter the room stays the faster it will dry. So crank that heating up in your case! I hope that has helped.

No is not enough time
As long as the area is dry you could always hire a dehumidifier to assist with drying and a low heat in the room as you should be hanging units which are drilled into a solid backing this shouldn't be a problem
The plaster needs to be fully dry ideally as if the walls are still dark brown then by putting the cupboards up will end up trapping moisture and mould will occur … the walls should be fully dry(light pink colour)…
But if you need to speed the process up get a decent humidifier in the room to draw the water out of walls quicker or possibly moderate heat but not too close to the walls as they could craze or blow

Yes this will be more than enough time for plaster to harden off and dry out ready for kitchen fitter.
Yes 2 days would be fine to install a kitchen on to plastered walls. I wouldn't recommend painting them but the units can be fixed to the walls after 2 days drying. You normally be able to tell if the wall has gone a light pink colour with a slight chalky surface when you rub your hand over.
Most people would say yes but in my opinion I'd leave it a week ideally before doing anything with it.
2 days is enough for walls to be hang cupboards from, there's no doubt, I hope you will not get mould where you hang cupboards if you don't allowed enough time to dry.

2 days is not enough time. Any kitchen units fixed to the newly plastered wall will prevent the walls from drying and lead to mould.
sometimes 2 days is enough it depends on the ambient temperature but sometimes you have to wait even a few days
I normally recommend 8 days after being done
Wait for the plaster to dry.. light salmon colour then good to go.. your hanging units to the masonry not the plaster itself..
As long plaster has fully cured and set this should not be a problem plaster usually sets within a few hours after being applied depending on temp of room
