Double up on roof joist so to save height on summer house?
Hi all,
Was wondering if I’m able to double up on roof joists on a flat roof so I can save internal height of summerhouse. Structure is 8m x 5m and was thinkinking of doubling 2 5x2’s together. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes but the joist would need to be bolted together with staggered bolts
