Extractor Fan Duct in Roof Leaking
We have started to get water dripping through our en-suite Extractor Fan, but only when it’s raining.
The duct goes directly into the loft, and up to the roof where it goes into a plastic vent. The leak seems to be coming from the lip on the vent overflowing rather than a leak in the roof itself. Is this fixable at a DIY level, or if not who (in terms of tradesman) would come and repair this? Plumber / Roofer?

Hello if it’s coming from the vent on the roof it may have a crack or split or the vet may be stuck open it can be easily be replaced if it is just the vet, Walter can travel in the smallest areas and travel,

Sounds like either the plastic vent has a split or the small drainage gap on the tile vent has leaves or debris blocking it causing it to back up and come down
Have a look from the ground if possible and if you have any trees around that area of the property
I would call a roofer as we fit those into roofs quite often
And if there is any trees around the property it might be a good idea to ask around friends and family of a local roofer who is known to a few people
Give them a call and see if they would be willing to give your gutters,valley or any areas that can block with leaves a check and clear out yearly just as the trees are completely bare of leaves
Then u can be assured you aren't going to get any water damage or leaks do to ares being blocked
