Ceiling repair required?
I need to repair a ceiling which has been damaged by a leak in the roof. The leak has been fixed and the ceiling is dry. The ceiling is latte and plaster and the repair will cover an area 4 foot by 8 foot. What is my best way forward?

Knock down ceiling
Reboard and skim
P.v.a the ceiling then hardwall the area gives the ceiling 2 hour dry then plaster it
The best way forward would be to remove the old plaster, inspect the laths to ensure they are sound, and replaster the damaged area, hope this helps
It will cost about 200
You can patch it with the same size fixing in skews if not too thick plasterboard after to plaster it or just bond it with hardwall, and double coate plaster
