Decorate or carpet first?
Do i decorate a room or fit the flooring first? Some rooms will be carpeted and others vinyl.

Hi anwaer to your question is ,paint first ,because if you have any paint drip then you can put new floor to cover everything and the job will be easier
Decorate first, if your painting or hanging wall paper it's best to do that first as you don't want to mess up your nice new floors and carpets.

Flooring is always best done last after all decorating to prevent and damage and give the best end result.

I would definitely suggest decorating first as you would not want to ruin or get paint on your lovely new flooring
Also, when flooring is required, we’d be more than happy to quote to supply and install the new flooring

Always do the decorating first then fit the carpet or vinyl after so you have a new fresh look
We always advise decorating first before flooring is done
Decorate 100% to avoid any damage to the new floorcoverings
Decorate after floor work and it's easier to cover the floor. When fitting you may need to chop out architraves etc or if sanding the edge sander may sometimes scuff the skirting boards. unfortunately there is no avoiding this if the entire floor is to be sanded
The preference is up to you but leave a few day after decorating before fitting carpet
