Durable shower for hard water areas
I am looking for a very good quality and durable shower thats best for Hard water areas & large family.
Had a Thermostatic bar one (mounted on bath for accessibility) that lasted just over a year; knob for temperatute loose and doesnt control the temperature anymore. Probably due to limescales forming inside/around it and constant turning up and down by family of 5?
I have a Combi Boiler
Need one that is Good quality and durable before style please

Mira power showers are good run from combi boiler.
It is probably the shuttle assy stuck in position, needs stripping apart and servicing. Also may even be a blockage in the hot side of the system.
If you you buy cheep fittings without a well known brand name,its normaly made from plastic and steel not brass.if you hard water is that bad invest in a water softener.

If you want to reduce limescale in a hard water area is only be fitting a water softener to remove the hardness otherwise all Sanitary ware will suffer the same and how long they last will depend on hardness of water
Showers isn't good for combi not enough pressure and you cant add pump that got rid of your pressure problem. Just put scale reducer on your cold and hot to reduce the hard water problem
