Would you recommend underfloor heating in a bathroom?

It really depends on the set up of your bathroom ie is it downstairs or upstairs and how easy it would be to set that up. Again, there is a point on insulation of the room and whether it would be cost effective to set up under floor heating. It could be a good idea but it would be variable from job to job and I would advise once more specifics were gotten.

Yes it's great, however electrical heat elements have a habit of going wrong

im just doing 2 bathrooms for my customer he is having it in both
personally i wouldn't have it as a heating source and i think a pair of slippers do the same i have explained it to him but hay ho he still wants it so i suppose its preference for the customer .

UFH in bathrooms or for any room is always good are you talking about wet that is of the central heating or electric if electric make sure it is a quality make, you could also think about a duel fuel towel radiator one that works off the central heating and electric for summer time.

depending on the specification of the bathroom ,if possible its a must ,electric matting works well. but i like to use an overlay water system which works from the central heating system is only 18mm thick and can be tiled directly over very good result .

I would only recommend underfloor heating if you tiling the floor.

I recommend to have underfloor heating in the bathroom if you have floor tilling done as it keeps the floor warm especially winter time the most important is to use the right insulation before underfloor heating and use 200kw heating mattress as it take faster to heat up .regards ,Silvio

Great question. Definately have underfloor heating. It will keep the floor warm and dry. The added bonus of this is that when you walk into the bathroom that the floor is warm to your naked feet and this makes a huge difference. Also keep in the room dry by using underfloor heating keep the damp down in the room and you won't have mildew forming in the corners of your bathroom

Under floor heating is ok coming from the boiler as heats more quickly, if electric it needs to be turned on for a good 10 minutes before to warm up and once tiles are warm hold some heat to feel warmth under foot.

If it was me I would spend the money on a nice radiator or upgrade the original.

Always check the btu's as cheap radiators don't always give out the get your after.

Ground floor yes, first floor no. Waste of money as heat will rise up as heat rises.

We recommend the installation underfloor heating. Provides a fantastic secondary heat source together with heated towel rail. Efficient to run and great to use in winter months

I have only instaled underfloor heating 2 times in 20 years on wooden floors in bathrooms.thay make the floors moove around with the heat causing cracking.i prefer a large heated towle rail.and if your feet are cold whear slippers.
