Repointing chimney cost?
It seems that our chimney is in need of re-pointing. How much do we need to budget for? It's for a detached house in reading. Fairly typical size chimney. Thank you :-)

Repointing on chimney is a difficult one to price depending on the access to the roof if scaffold is recalled it will run into the thousands if access can be made to the roof and working safely from the roof it would be a matter of hundreds
around 250
It depends on if you need scaffolding as this is a big cost I do own scaffold but sometimes it's safer to have a scaffold erected if to high
