Bathroom Fitting — Stockport · May 2019
Install downstairs 2 bedroom
"I don’t recommend Mike as I have a really bad experience from him . He started a bathroom work , installed shower and toilet in a wrong way . He wasted tiles and equipments . Do not give any money in advance , as he would not respond to your calls or texts . He bought many items and failed to submit the receipt as well"
Bathroom Fitting — Leyland · March 2019
re-fit bathroom
"Mike was available at short notice, reasonably priced under the circumstances, and OK to have in the house with the children. He did a small bathroom: new bath, basin, and tiling. He is good at tiling. One reservation- he attached the basin to the tiled wall only with silicone. This might be considered normal, but the bolt holes are there for a reason! He also left a few small details unfinished. All in all- fair job given we needed it done quickly."

Upvc ceiling in bathroom with lights

Change room into bedroom
"Just had Mike to convert our extension into an en suite bedroom for my dad and a utility room, I was very impressed with his work which he completed in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and I will be using him again."

Loft boarding
"This time served builder started work on my loft storage job with no dust sheets. I have plenty he could have used. He then took down a lintel to accommodate the loft ladder. He misjudged the new height of the lintel. Instead of redoing the lintel again he took corners off the ladder which didn't work and then moved the brackets on the bottom section of the ladder up so it would clear the lintel. Now the ladder is too short. He will not respond now. "

Refit waste pipe under shower

Carpentry & Joinery — Wallasey · December 2018
router in kitchen sink into worktop
"I hired Mike to fit a part-bespoke kitchen into a restricted space (kitchen units, worktop, plumbing, electrics and plastering, moved boiler) What he did was brilliant and I am so pleased with it. He really got the aesthetics of it right. I also appreciated that he did not patronise me as a woman (other builders have). He works hard and is fast and highly proficient at all the trades. A good problem solver with imagination which was what I needed. I wish I had found him earlier. "

No water at the property
"I have been in touch with Mike on a multiple occasions, I asked him to paint and decorate our property and then also to look at the plumbing as we had a problem with the water. Unfortunately he let me down at all times, either he forgot about the appointment we set or just didn?t turn up. I can't give any feedback for his work, but if you are looking for somebody trustworthy who won't let you down then you should avoid this guy."

Replacement of a Triton electric shower over a bath.
