New Passyfier Vent is dripping
Hi, We had a passyfier vent installed in a bedroom to combat condensation mould. It has been installed next to the chimney breast near the top of the wall. However we have a stream of water running from it. The cover came off easily and there is a pool of water in it. Is this normal?

First, I'd check the external grille and surrounding seal for rainwater ingress, then check the installation sleeve has the correct fall towards the outside so any moisture drains externally rather than into the room.
As it's installed next to the chimney breast, I'd also check for dampness within the masonry or chimney itself, as well as condensation forming on cold surfaces inside the vent.
I'd recommend contacting the installer to inspect it, particularly as it's a new installation. Don't simply seal the vent shut, as that could compromise the ventilation intended to help prevent condensation and mould.
