Soundproofing adjoining wall?
Can we soundproof our adjoining wall to our neighbours? Semi detached 1960’s house with a chimney

Potentially you could soundproof the walls but obviously if the fireplace is in use then this can’t be soundproofed I’d suggest to render and maybe tile if that’s the case in there.
Hi yes this can be quite easily done, you would have to stud out the existing wall and then fit acoustic insulation then board over with Db board.
