Under sink noise
There is a loud “engine” noise coming from under the kitchen sink, even when water is turned off. It comes and goes randomly and when the noise starts I can also hear water n the walls. I also have a big white tank under the sink, not sure if it’s connected to the noise but it’s sounds like a motor.

Could be a macerator that’s malfunctioning or it could be a water boiler for hot water under the sink
There are 2 malfunctions here. The 1st malfunction is from the valve that is in the tank. The 2nd malfunction may be in the pump system, the check valve is clogged, but you still need to go test it and find out the error.
From what you have described most likely the big white tank you mentioned is a insinkorator.
