Best paint for interior doors?

Hi there
Wondering if anyone can recommend best type and brand of paint for interior doors?
The current doors are modern wooden fire doors - flat no panelling. Would you recommend sanding this first?
Thanks

Yes u can sand it and after use dulux gloss paint non trip one

I would recommend sanding the doors, applying an oil-based undercoat and then finish with an oil-based Satinwood paint. Leave plenty of time for the undercoat to fully dry.

Satin wood

Best one I used is Farrow and Ball. Regarding sanding you have to do it if they have paint on it. New doors usually comes primed. Any way I’d recommend to use a Zinsser 123plus primer, one or two coats and then paint 2 or 3 coats. You need to use quality brush or roller with short hair, for wood ( Hamilton or Purdy)

Dulax-PBW / SatinWood(Oil Base)

If they have got a shine on them like a varnish I would recommend sanding them first then use a primer or undercoat before glossing

Oil based dulux undercoat
Top coat with dulux satinwood

Sanding not essential unless door has imperfections.

It's hard to say which paint is the best, but a good one is, for example, Dulux Trade must be a waterproof paint. yes, I recommend sanding the door before painting

Please try Jonson's quick dry gloss as a primer then a high gloss on top for a shine
