Is it safe to paint over cracked asbestos Artex?
There a some cracks developing around Artex ceilings in the rooms of our house. I've had the Artex tested and it contains Chrysotile. Would it be safe to paint over these cracks? I tried in one room and a few bits fell off, is this exposure something to be concerned about? Is there a better way to fill in the cracks without disturbing the ceiling? I can't afford to overboard or plaster.

Should be checked to see if its actually asbestos if it is, it should be painted with encapsulation paint.
yes we could cut craks out and fill again and seal ceeling and paint
Hi there I would personally get someone in to look at the ceilings if it is getting worse but in the mean while you could fill it with a polly filler sand it down then paint over it but I would advise you to get someone in to have a look hope this helps
