Second undercoat for previously stained door?
I have sanded down and applied 1 coat of undercoat paint, should I apply a second?

Probably yes. You should make sure that the previous finish is completely covered by the undercoat before you apply the top coat.

Hi, if you already sanded and aplied 1 coat of undercoat paint should be fine , but for best result is better to aply another one before the paint.

Depending on the finish I would personally give it two coats of under coat to be on the safe side doors have a tendency to suck in alot of paint once u have sanded and prepare it so my advice would be yes definitely use two coats hope this helps
